Zagat says this "low-key, upscale" by-appointment-only atelier is an excellent place to view a "beautifully edited selection of high-quality gowns” "that includes designers not a lot of others carry."

"I feature 20 designers in my store and they range from the most contemporary avant garde to the most traditional that are out there,” said Ingram. “A lot of high fashion things, a lot of imports exclusive things from Europe like Karl Lagerfeld, to really very edgy things like Angel Sanchez."

And customers say owner "Mark Ingram knows his stuff.” As a matter of fact, Zagat says he and his "very mellow" "outstanding staff" "treat you like the special lady you are."

Out of a possible 30, Mark Ingram Bridal Atelier scores a 27 for quality and a 26 for service. There is no rating in the Zagat guide for display. And surveyors say prices are expensive.
